Another day, another feature, right? Well today, yes! We’ve just finished integrating the new FT Sidebar manager into all our premium WordPress themes. Another feature to give you that bit more control over what’s going on in your site.
It’s an update we’ve added to all our Pro themes, so another reason to go Pro! 
What does it do?
It is designed so you can add as many custom sidebars as you like to your site and place them in certain posts/pages. Simple as!
Imagine, you need to add a widget to just one particular post, how would you do it? Use a plugin? Dive into the theme code and make some hacks? Well these were the options before we released our Sidebar Manager. It’s fully integrated into our powerful Options Framework and is available right now!
How do I use it?
Using the sidebar manager is easy, simply go to your admin and under the theme options you will see ‘Sidebar Manager’.
Here you can add a new sidebar, delete current ones you have created or deactivate them. Once added, simply go to the widgets page as you normally would to add widgets to a sidebar and your newly added sidebar will be there!
Add as many widgets as you like to them and then go to the post/page you wish it to appear on.
On the post/page edit you will now see options under ‘FT Sidebars’ in the right column to select which sidebar you want displayed on that post/page, whether you want it left/right aligned or whether to enable/disable it.
